Shawn Spencer, Dicar’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing reports:
“Dicar enters 2017 with great enthusiasm following a very successful and exciting 2016. The launch of numerous new products during SuperCorrExpo 2016 in Orlando, Florida, was met with great interest and excitement by existing customers and the industry in general. Dicar’s focus has always been on developing and providing superior products that enhance the efficiency, quality and safety of the converting process. Our primary focus has been the diecutting process, but our full range of performance enhancing products can be found throughout the process from the feed end through and beyond the stacker or counter-ejector.
The new Dicar products formally introduced last year include,
AnviLatch™, an ergonomically friendly modern anvil cover mounting technology which eliminates the need to use a mallet when mounting or rotating. A simple indexing of the die cylinder secures the covers. To accompany AnviLatch are the AnviLatch Die Cylinder Gripper Bars 2.0 magnetic handle devices which provide a quick and safe means to index the die cylinder during anvil rotation or die mounting.
Dicar’s new Emba Die Cut Bearing Upgrade uses our patented Snap Sleeve™ “split bearing” design to accommodate thermal expansion and maintain consistent cover mounting.
We also introduced a Dicar Wrap-On™ style Geo Martin Scrubber™ Replacement Wheels which are designed for quick and simple removal and installation; MHI EVOL Counter-Ejector Replacement Wheels in both solid and Crushless® styles with dual high-precision 606zz bearings; SpeedStrap™ boltless magnetic pull bands for printing and diecutting and the Dicar Magnetic Scratch Pads™ which create a durable urethane magnetic backed work surface that protects work areas, benches and tool box tops from cuts, scratches and other light damage.
A few new faces joined the Dicar Sales force this year with the addition of Dan Morton as Northeast Regional Technical Sales and Service Representative. Dan’s region includes Eastern New York, New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Dan replaces Steve Crow who was promoted to the position of Director of Technical and Customer Service. Also joining Dicar as Southwest Region Technical Sales and Service Representative is Christopher Abby. A twenty-year industry veteran, he is responsible for the region which includes Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas.
We would like to thank all of our loyal customers and OEM partners who contributed to a mutually successful 2016. Looking forward to 2017 we are excited about our continued R&D programs and the new products that are about to crest the horizon.”
